One could argue that the most important component in a pie contest is judging. Our crack team of judges for the 2011 pie fest included:

Pies are judged using the following system:
Flavor- 50pts possible
Texture- 20pts possible
Creativity/Interpretation- 20pts possible
Appearance- 10pts possible
Pies may score up to 100 points.
Judges’ Comments Policy: Because we don’t want our judges to have to censor themselves in the name of people’s feelings, we do not reveal their comments to contestants.
